BROKEN BOW – The Custer County Ag Society will hold its regular monthly meeting on Thursday, February 9 at 7 p.m. at the Shooting Sports Building on the Custer County Fairgrounds.
The board will review the minutes of the previous meeting, evaluate and pay the monthly bills, and hear committee reports from the Extension Office, 4-H Council, Fairgrounds Administrator, and the Personnel Committee.
In new business, the Ag Society will hear from the Horse Committee, which may feature an appearance from a Mid-States Rodeo representative. The board will also discuss a return alley south of the indoor arena, as well as the installation of big fans for the indoor arena and the show ring.
In old business, the board will revisit their contracts for events for the upcoming year, and provide an update regarding the demolition of barns 1, 7, and 8 as well as the restrooms behind the grandstands.
