LINCOLN – The Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA) has designated the week of November 14 as NSAA Play Production Judges Appreciation Week.
The weeklong campaign will highlight different facts as well as video highlights from the NSAA Judges Workshop in July. Member schools are encouraged to get involved by reading an appreciation script prior to all productions and sharing what they are doing by tagging the NSAA on Twitter with the hashtag “#NSAARespectTheJudge.”
“The NSAA and our member schools will be making a special effort to show our appreciation for our Play Production judges this week,” said NSAA Assistant Director Taryn Retzlaff. “Nebraska has phenomenal arts programming and activities like Play Production and Speech that are an integral part of a student’s high school experience. Without the passion and commitment of our judges, we would be unable to provide these opportunities to students across the state.”
The NSAA will also be highlighting speech and music judges in addition to winter and spring officials throughout the remainder of the 2022-23 school year.
