The Nebraska High School Rodeo made stops at Bloomfield and O’Neill this past weekend. Among the area highlights, Sid Miller of Merna had a strong day in Bloomfield on Saturday. Miller won the tie down roping in a time of 10.25 seconds and teamed with Zane Druery of Anselmo to win the team roping in a time of 7.37 seconds. On Sunday in O’Neill, Devin Konicek of Burwell won the boys cutting with a score of 73. Slate Micheel of Sargent won the bull riding with a winning score of 69 and Cooper Phillips of Burwell placed first in the tie down roping on Sunday with a winning time of 11.16 seconds.
