NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) – Thursday, Spectrum announced the launch of Spectrum Internet® and the full suite of Spectrum services for residential customers and small business clients in Brule, following the completion of a $442,000 network upgrade. As part of Nebraska’s Remote Access Rural Broadband Grant initiative, Spectrum was awarded $141,000 in funds to expand services to 186 homes in Brule.
Spectrum’s high-bandwidth, low-latency network means local residents now have access to gigabit connections with Spectrum Internet, which includes starting internet speeds of 100 Mbps with no modem fees, data caps or contracts. Spectrum Internet Ultra, which features download speeds up to 400 Mbps, is also available to residential customers. For small and medium-sized businesses, Spectrum Business® offers gigabit connections, with starting speeds of 200 Mbps and a 600 Mbps option.
