The Broken Bow volleyball team will travel to Lexington tonight to face the Class B Minutemaids. The two met earlier in the season during the semifinals of the Lexington Invite with Lexington winning 2-0. Lexington is 7-1 on the season and ranked in the top ten of Class B by the Omaha World Herald with their only loss coming to undefeated St. Paul in the championship match of the Lexington Invite two weekends ago. Broken Bow is now 4-3 on the season after defeating both Cozad and North Platte St. Pat’s in straight sets at the Cozad triangular last week. Tonight’s match will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM and kbbn.com. Opening serve is scheduled for 7 pm.

Burwell triangular with Central Valley and Nebraska Christian
The South Loup (Callaway/Arnold) football team will travel to Stapleton tonight to face the Sandhills Valley (Stapleton/McPherson County) Mavericks. South Loup will be looking for their first win of the season while Sandhills Valley enters with a 2-1 overall record.
The annual Ravenna Cross Country Invitational takes place. Among the area teams scheduled to compete at today’s meet include Broken Bow, Ansley/Litchfield, South Loup, Arcadia/Loup City, and Cozad
