Nebraska baseball didn’t have the weekend it hoped for with two losses to Michigan State, but you can withhold any blame towards Scott Schreiber.
The Husker outfielder went 6 for 8 with two home runs, a double, two walks, four runs scored and a pair of RBIs as Nebraska lost 17-5 and 5-3 in East Lansing.
Schreiber is the team-leader in batting average (.413), homers (11) and RBIs (30).
Nebraska will travel to Manhattan on Tuesday for a 6:30 p.m. game against Kansas State before returning home to host a three-game series with Iowa beginning Friday.
