COLUMBUS – Former Warrior Maddy Wolfe lead the Central Raiders to a victory Thursday night, in the team’s home opener.
Wolfe scored 23 point and snagged 8 boards on the night, leading the team in both categories, against Mounty Marty JV.
The team trailed early, going down 17-23 after the 1st, and 27-28 at half time. In the 3rd Quarter, Mounty Marty outscored CCC 25-20, but Central would respond by outscoring their opponent 19-10 in the final quarter of play.
Coach Billy Perkins says he was pleased with the teams ability to fight back a retake the lead in the second half.
The team went on to win the game 78-73, to advance to 1-0 on the season.
All 5 starters scored in double digits in the comeback performance.
