The Sandhills / Thedford Knights and the Twin Loup Wolves will meet Thursday night for the kickoff of the area football season. It is a rematch of one of last year’s Class D2 semifinals. Twin Loup won that game 18-8 and then fell to Falls City Sacred Heart in the D2 championship game 44-28. Central Nebraska’s Sports Source will be there to cover the game but not in the traditional way. KCNI / KBBN will be assisting News Channel Nebraska with a special live television broadcast of the game.
