The Nebraska Schools Activities Association has released the pairings for girls sub district basketball tournaments which will begin on Monday (2/17).
The Broken Bow Lady Indians are the top seed in the C1-9 sub district to be played at Burwell high school. Broken Bow will play on Tuesday (2/18) at 6 p.m. against the winner of Monday’s game between Ainsworth and Valentine. Ord will play O’Neill in the 2 vs. 3 matchup Tuesday night at 7:30. Tuesday’s winners will play Thursday for the sub-district title. All Broken Bow games from the C1-9 sub district will be broadcast on KCNI 1280 AM / 96.3 FM and kcni1280.com
Anselmo-Merna is the top seed at the D2-7 sub district to be played at Broken Bow High School. The Lady Coyotes will play Tuesday (2/18) against the winner of Monday’s game between Elba and Heartland Lutheran. SEM will play Twin Loup in the 2 vs. 3 matchup on Tuesday. Tuesday’s winners will advance to the sub-district final on Thursday. Tuesday’s games from the D2-7 sub district will be broadcast on KBBN 95.3 FM and kbbn.com
Arcadia/Loup City is the #4 seed at the C2-10 sub district to be played at Ord High School. The Lady Rebels will face Centura on Monday (2/17) with the winner advancing to play top seed Ravenna on Tuesday (2/18). The 2 vs 3 matchup on Tuesday will feature Burwell against Wood River.
South Loup is the top seed at the C2-11 sub district to be played at Gothenburg High School. The Lady Bobcats will face Hi-Line on Tuesday (2/18) with the winner advancing to play the winner of Elm Creek / Maxwell on Thursday for the sub district title.
Ansley/Litchfield is the #3 seed at the D1-8 sub district to be played at Kearney Catholic High School. The Lady Spartans will face Shelton on Tuesday (2/18) with the winner advancing to play the winner of Pleasanton / Amherst on Thursday for the sub district championship.
Mullen is the top seed and Sandhills/Thedford the #3 seed at the D2-9 sub district to be played at Paxton High School. Mullen will face Hyannis on Tuesday (2/18) followed by Sandhills/Thedford vs. Arthur County with the winners advancing to face one another in the sub district final on Thursday.
Sandhills Valley will play Maywood/Hayes Center on Tuesday at the D1-10 sub district at Brady while Cozad and Gothenburg will each compete at the C1-11 sub district at North Platte High. Cozad will face the top seed Chase County on Tuesday followed by Gothenburg vs. Hershey.
