Free Viewing of “No Small Matter” Documentary to Explore Early Childhood Education in America

CUSTER COUNTY–It takes a village to raise a child — but what happens when that village disappears and nothing takes its place? 2020 has made it clearer than ever that child care is essential for America to work. Now is the time for action on childcare and early education. A special nationwide, live event is scheduled for this Thursday evening.

A full length documentary film No Small Matter will be offered to the nation, virtually, for FREE; Thursday, June 25 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Go to https://www.nosmallmatter.com/june25 to register.

Following a story from earlier this week about a local group designed to support childcare providers and prioritize early childhood education, the Custer County Early Childhood Partnership (CCECP) is now spreading the word about this free opportunity to engage communities and start a dialogue about how we can work together to solve the childcare issues that affect our families and businesses.

Experiences that children have in the first five years shapes their mind, builds the framework, and connections that will impact their future development. No Small Matter features the experiences families face when providing care for their children. We as a community can address these issues, together. What is your story and vision for early childhood education?
