Broken Bow will host Valentine and Gothenburg for a wrestling triangular on Thursday. The event will be held at the Middle School Auditorium. The first dual of the night will feature Valentine against Broken Bow. The two have had some great battles in recent years. Valentine is ranked #1 in the latest NEWrestle.com rankings in Class C and Broken Bow is ranked #8. The two teams combined will present 5 wrestlers who are top ranked in Class C in their respective weight class. From Valentine, Chris Williams (126) ; Gage Krolikowski (138) ; Morgan McGinley (145) ; Chase Olson (160) ; and from Broken Bow Lathan Duda (182). One of the highlight matches of the evening could come at 126 lbs. where Valentine’s Chris Williams could meet Broken Bow’s Casey Faulkenberry who has returned from injury and is ranked #3 in this weight class. The second dual of the night will feature Gothenburg against Valentine and the night will conclude with Gothenburg taking on Broken Bow. Coach Ed Schaaf told KCNI/KBBN Sports that both duals will present a good challenge for his team.
