Boys District Golf Takes Place Today in Classes B and D

Area athletes will attempt to qualify for the NSAA state boys golf championships today. District meets will be held in Classes B and D today. Broken Bow will be among those competing at the B4 district at Lake Maloney golf course in North Plate. Joining Bow at today’s meet will be Chadron, Cozad, Gering, Gothenburg, Lexington, McCook, North Platte, Ogallala, Scottsbluff, and Sidney. The first three teams and the first ten individual places plus ties in each district will qualify for the NSAA Championship,
using medal play.

Other area teams scheduled to compete in district competition today include : Burwell will be among the teams competing at the D-2 district in Clarkson. Sandhills/Thedford, Stapleton, and Anselmo-Merna will be among those competing at the D-4 district in Loomis and Mullen will compete at the D-5 district at River’s Edge Golf Course in North Platte.
