Athletes from the KCNI/KBBN coverage area were recently selected to the Omaha World Herald’s All State football teams. The selections were revealed in the Sunday, Dec. 15 edition. Jace Williams and Corey Dawe of Burwell were each named to the All Class D1 team. Williams made the all state Class D1 offensive team at running back and Dawe was named to the all state defensive team as a linebacker. Caden Kusek of Arcadia/Loup City also made the Class D1 all state defensive team at linebacker. Quade Young and Colby Coons of Twin Loup were listed as members on the Class D2 all defensive team. Young made the team at defensive line and Coons was on the team as an athlete/punter. In Class C1, Tucker Wyatt of Gothenburg made the all defensive team at defensive line and Jacob Engel of Cozad made the team at punter.
