OMAHA, Neb. -- The University of Nebraska-Omaha has announced changes to its mask guidance.
Starting Wednesday August 25th, all students, faculty, staff and guests will be required to wear masks indoors, regardless of vaccination status.
Officials released the new guidelines saying the move is in response to an increase in the regional transmission of COVID-19 in the Omaha community and recommendations from the UNO office of health security.
Mask guidance is subject to change as the UNO office of health security monitors trends and receives guidance from local, state and federal health officials.
All other fall guidance remains in place.
