LINCOLN, Neb. – A mother and her two children were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries after an accident on Tuesday morning.
Emergency crews responded to the two-vehicle injury accident at 27th and P streets around 9 a.m.
Lincoln Police said a white vehicle, driven by the mother and containing her two kids, was turning north onto 27th Street from P Street. Police said the vehicle ran a red light and hit a southbound SUV.
The driver of the SUV was not transported to the hospital, and no citations have been issued.
