OGALLALA, Neb. — First responders took two people to the hospital after a crash at a highway intersection west of Ogallala Friday evening.
Nebraska State Patrol spokesman Cody Thomas says the accident occurred at the intersection of Highway 26 and Highway 30 just after 5 p.m.
Officials say a Toyota Prius was stopped at the junction. While turning from Highway 26 to Highway 30 eastbound, the Prius was struck by a westbound Dodge Durango.
The driver of the Prius, Wilma Donnelly of Topeka, Kan. and her husband Arthur were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
No other injuries were reported.
