Two arrested in alleged connection to cutting in Omaha

OMAHA, Neb. -- Early Saturday morning, officers responded to Immanuel Hospital ER where a patient had walked-in after being cut. 

Police say they spoke with 34-year-old Christina Owens. It was determined that she had non-life-threatening injuries from the cutting. 

Officials say Owens was assaulted at the Quick Trip at 4404 N 72nd Street. 

Police say that through the course of the investigation, they identified the suspected and located them in the 6100 block of Emmet Street. 

Both of the suspects, 43-year-old Theophyllis Robinson and 45-year-old Yolanda Moore, were arrested without incident. 

Robinson was booked into Douglas County Detention Center for third-degree assault. Moore was booked into Douglas County Detention Center for second-degree felony assault and attempted motor vehicle theft.
