LINCOLN - The selfless acts of a group of Nebraska Troopers did not go without notice.
In June, the troopers went above the call of duty relaying potentially live-saving medicine across the state.
Inclement weather prevented the delivery of the medicine by plane, so the troopers drove it from Omaha to North Platte.
From North Platte, a plane took that medicine the rest of the way to a children's hospital in Colorado.
Monday, Governor Pete Ricketts and Nebraska State Patrol Colonel John Bolduc honored troopers for their actions.
