The Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium is opening its doors for free during the week after Christmas.
From Dec. 26 to Dec. 30, children 11 years and younger can visit the zoo for free. Up to six kids per paid adult will be given free admission.
“We hope families will use this opportunity to enjoy what our great zoo has to offer and create memories with their loved ones,” said Dennis Pate, president and CEO of the zoo, in a statement.
The zoo also offered free post-holiday admission last year and decided to extend the event by three more days this year.
As a reminder, the zoo will be closed on Christmas Day.
