State Trooper Helps Man Remember Family Lost In Crash

UNION-On Thursday, April 1st, Trooper Wilson with the Nebraska State Patrol offered his assistance to a person on Highway 75 near Union. What was discovered was the remembrance of those lost in a crash that occurred on January 31st.

The following is the post via the Nebraska State Patrol Facebook Page:

“Yesterday, Trooper Wilson was patrolling Highway 75 in Cass County when he noticed a person who appeared to be looking for something on the side of the road. Trooper Wilson stopped to offer assistance and discovered that the man was family of the four people from Topeka who were killed in a tragic crash on January 31 near Union.

The man was looking for the spot where the crash had occurred so he could place flowers in remembrance of the four lives lost. Trooper Wilson helped him locate the right spot, and together they honored Ashly Bracken, 21, Tatiyana Wade, 22, Malaysia Reece, 4, and Keniah Robinson, 5.

He asked that we share this message in hopes that together, we can prevent another tragedy like this from occurring. Our thoughts continue to be with all of the families affected by this terrible crash.”

Be safe if traveling this Easter weekend.
