State Patrol Plans Extra Enforcement For State Basketball

Lincoln – The Nebraska State Patrol is planning extra enforcement today to March 10 for the high school boys basketball tournament. State Patrol Superintendent Col. John Bolduc said the basketball teams and fans coming to Lincoln means more traffic. Bolduc: “We want this weekend to be remembered for the action on the court, rather than crashes on the roads.  We encourage all drivers to voluntarily comply with traffic safety laws to do their part to keep the madness off the road.” The enforcement is supported by a $12,250 grant from the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
