COLUMBUS — Easter is hatching on 13th Street this Thursday during the Downtown Shop Hop.
A dozen stores in downtown Columbus (The 13th Street Again collective) are giving away eggs with potential prizes to their first ten shoppers. The Valencia Boutique‘s co-owner, Paula O’Connell said it’s much welcomed.
“Last summer was not a good time, so we’re really excited about business coming back,” O’Connell said with a laugh.
The timing of the event is sweeter than Easter candy. Businesses like BeYoutiful Boutique only recently opened yet face a lot of challenges, between the pandemic and weather.
“It brings businesses and people together like myself that are new,” owner Nicole Lindhorst said.
Other participating stores include Tooley’s Drug and Homecare; Treasures Boutique; Barbara Jean’s; Cork & Barrel, Lavender Thyme, Regina’s Kitchen, Fabulous Forever, Tapestries Vintage, Artzy Haven, Tand Gifts and Treasures Boutique.
