SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (KNEP) - Preparation in full swing for the Scotts Bluff County Fair.
After a bizarre year, because of the Covid-19 pandemic, has locals excited about getting the fair back to normal. Even though last years fair wasn’t as bad as some county fairs in others states regarding the Covid-19 protocols it was still limited.
There were little to no vendors, no carnival, social distancing, and masks. But this year is going back to “normal.”
Lanna Hubbard, the general manager of the fairgrounds, states that, “We had a pretty normal fair last year in regards to what it could have been and was in some states and counties, so we were fortunate. But yeah this year we are full steam ahead as a normal fair. So it was kind of shifting gears as far as oh we’re back to normal, here let’s do all of the extra stuff now.”
The Scotts Bluff County Fair is July 31st through August 7th.
