BEATRICE – The Southeast Community College Storm Golf Team finished 9th at the national tournament this year.
Parkland College, of Champaign, Illinois came from behind to nip South Mountain Community College, of Phoenix, Arizona in the team standings, winning by two shots in the four-round tournament, held near Plymouth, Indiana.
For Southeast, Geronimo Narizzano finished tied for fifth, individually, with a 290 total….two over par. Cecil Belisle of South Mountain won the individual crown by four shots, at six-under-par 282.
For Southeast….
- Alan Osomio finished at 308
- Ander Ibarra carded a 316
- Josh Norris had a 321 total….and
- Andrew Pacquette finished at 329
Narrizano, wrapping up his Southeast Community College golf career, was named a First-Team All America for finishing in the top ten.
