Partsch arrives as hometown intern

LINCOLN – Luke Partsch of Nebraska City is among 19 college students returning to their hometowns this summer in a Nebraska Community Foundation program to help strengthen the communities that raised them.

Partsch is a University of Nebraska-Lincoln student who will be helping the Nebraska City Community Foundation plan and promote The Dream Switch Project. He will also work with the Youth Advisory Committee to help develop a sustainable program to welcome newcomers to Nebraska City.

Miranda Shreves of Johnson, a 2020 hometown intern, will serve this year as an intern coordinator.

Other hometowns with interns are Norfolk, Columbus, Guide Rock, Callaway, Ogallala, O’Neill, McCook, Deshler, Rosalie, Red Cloud, Ewing, Albion, Diller, Hebron, Chester and Cuba, Kan.
