Panhandle gets first taste of winter storm Jaxon

NORFOLK -- Roads in western Nebraska are snow covered as the storm moving out of the central Rockies speeds into Nebraska. The storm has prompted a Blizzard Warning from north Platte to Yankton, South Dakota where up to 18 inches of snow is expected through Monday night. The National Weather Service office in North Platte has elevated its alert protocol to "critical" in advance of the storm.
