ST. PAUL, Neb. -- One person has been killed in a crash between a tractor and a car in central Nebraska on Sunday morning.
The Howard County Sheriff's Office says both vehicles were northbound on Highway 281 about four miles southwest of the town of Wolbach. Authorities say the driver of the passenger vehicle struck the rear of the tractor.
The Nebraska State Patrol said Ashley M. Hurley of Grand Island was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

The driver of the tractor was uninjured.
