Omaha man sentenced on child enticement charges

OMAHA, Neb. -- A metro man will spend more than a decade behind bars for attempted enticement of a minor.

49-year-old James Joiner of Omaha was sentenced Wednesday to 150 months in prison.

Officials say he responded to an online prostitution ad and began talking with an officer posing to be a 15-year-old girl.

Officials say Joiner made arrangements to meet the 15-year-old female at a gas station in Omaha.

When he arrived, he was arrested.

After his prison term, Joiner will be required to register as a sex offender.
