Norfolk Youth Theater Camp is back on the big stage

Lights, camera, action!

The Norfolk Youth Community Theater was officially back on Monday at the Cox Activities Center since being canceled last summer due to COVID-19 and the children and organizers couldn't be more thrilled!

"I think everybody is excited and again, especially, since we had to take last year off," says Libby McKay, who is the Director of the Norfolk Youth Theater.

From Monday through Saturday, the community theater organizers and children run through a week-long camp that includes rehearsals, acting workshops, and tech workshops.

Eventually, the kids will put their skills to the test on Saturday, where they will put on a play performance. This year, there's a twist!

The kids will be putting three shows into one for each of the performances. The topic of the plays will be centered around Greek Tragedies.

The performances will take place on Saturday, June 26, at 10:30 am and 1:00 pm. Tickets will be available through the Norfolk Community Theater.
