Norfolk woman arrested for suspended license, meth possession

NORFOLK, Neb. — A Sunday night traffic stop led to the arrest of a 38-year-old Norfolk woman.

In a release issued Monday, Norfolk Police said they conducted a traffic stop in the 700 block of Columbia Street shortly after 8:30 p.m.

The release stated that the driver, Heather M. Biggerstaff, was driving on a suspended license, leading to her arrest. In a subsequent search, officers said they located a small clear plastic baggie containing a white crystalline substance that tested positive for methamphetamine.

Biggerstaff was held in the Norfolk City Jail and later transferred to the Madison County Jail.
