Norfolk woman allegedly struck and broke skin of victim

NORFOLK, Neb. -- Monday evening, Norfolk Police responded to a disturbance at an apartment in the 1200 block of Norfolk Avenue.

Police say they had spoken with the male victim, who told them that 25-year-old Dominique Owens of Norfolk, was upset with him for relationship issues. 

The man stated that Owens shouted at him outside his apartment door and banging on the door. 

Police say that when he opened his door, he said she struck him several times. Owens left scratches that broke skin on his ear, back, and neck. 

After speaking with the victim, officers found Owens and spoke with her about the incident. 

Police then arrested Owens for third-degree domestic assault. She was housed in the Norfolk City Jail, and was later transferred to the Madison County Jail.
