Nebraska Man Sentenced to Prison for Viewing Child Pornography

LINCOLN - A Nebraska man is behind bars after accessing with an intent to view child pornography. Dick Wollman of Omaha pleaded guilty on October 16, 2017, and was also ordered to serve 10 years of supervised release. According to facts admitted by Wollman, law enforcement found he used an Internet-based video conferencing platform used to stream images and videos of child pornography during group video chats. He further admitted he accessed the platform over a hundred times between November 2015 to February 2017. The case was brought as part of the Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse launched in May 2006 by the Department of Justice. The Project works to better locate, apprehend, and prosecute individuals like Wollman, as well as locate and rescue victims.
