Nebraska man sentenced to life for bank robbery

FREMONT, Neb.-- An eastern Nebraska man will spend the rest of his life in prison for a bank robbery two years ago.

65-year-old Anthony Wayne Hall of Fremont was sentenced Friday for aggravated bank robbery. He was sentenced to life in prison under the federal "Three Strikes" Law.

Authorities say Hall robbed the First State Bank in Fremont in November of 2019. He took ten thousand dollars while threatening employees with a replica revolver. Several days later, state troopers found Hall in Missouri and arrested him.

He has previously been convicted of murder, rape, and seven prior armed robberies.
