McCook Police seeking public’s help after morning robbery

MCCOOK, Neb. — Police are investigating in southwest Nebraska after a woman was robbed at knifepoint.

It happened early Thursday morning in McCook. Police say a woman told them she was approached by two men while walking.

The victim said one of the men showed a knife and took her purse before they fled on foot.

One suspect was described as a 5-foot-6 white man with a thin build. He was seen wearing a bright  blue hooded jacket and beige shorts.

The victim described the other suspect as a 5-foot-11 black man with a thin build. She said he was wearing a dark t-shirt and blue jeans and had short dark hair.

McCook Police are asking anyone with any information to contact them.
