Man Shoots Potential State Record Bull in Western Nebraska

CHADRON - Saturday near Chadron, John Rickard shot an Elk that state officials believe is a state record. Nebraska Game and Parks officials say, "John may hold a new record! The initial 'green' score puts him at the #2 if not #1 state archery record bull." The bull was shot near Chadron, and the bull was shot with a bow and arrow. NGP officials said it took six men and two hours to move the bull.
