Man accused of reckless driving, hitting five vehicles

LINCOLN, Neb. — A Lincoln man is facing charges after police say he was driving recklessly and hit several cars.

Early Saturday morning, Lincoln Police say they were called for a car swerving all over the road, near 24th and A Streets.

A witness told police they say the car crash into a fire hydrant.

Officers found the car disabled near 24th and Randolph Streets with the driver passed out at the wheel.

The driver, Austyn Jenks, was found to be intoxicated.

Police say he hit five other cars in addition to hitting the fire hydrant.

Jenks was cited on multiple traffic violations.
