Authorities are investigating after an explosion caused damage to a Lincoln apartment building.
Lincoln Police were called to the 200 block of Adams Street early Monday on reports of possible gunshots.
When officers arrived, they found broken out windows and smoke in the air.
Inside, officers found a hole in the floor that measured 18 inches deep and six inches wide.
Fire officials say a homemade explosive caused the damage, and was equivalent to a half-stick of dynamite.
Police learned that the explosive had been thrown into the hallway after a fight between neighbors.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is on going.
