Lincoln Named 4th Kindest City In U.S.

LINCOLN – A personal finance website has recognized two Nebraska cities among the top twenty kindest in the U.S.

According to WalletHub, Lincoln has been named the fourth kindest city in the country. The top three include Virginia Beach, Virginia, Madison, Wisconsin, and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

The ranking is based on 39 key metrics, including homelessness rate, share of income donated to charity, and special-education teachers per capita. Omaha was named the 20th kindest city, making Nebraska one of six states with two cities in the top twenty.
