Lexington Winery Granary Storage Catches Fire

LEXINGTON – Over two dozen firefighters battled a blaze Saturday night at a Winery in Lexington.

The granary storage at Mac’s Creek Winery and Brewery caught fire around 11:15 PM. A Facebook post says the building is where the business houses its tractors, mowers, and vineyard supplies.

The Lexington Volunteer Fire Department responded to the call, and no injuries were reported as a result of the fire. Officials say fire crews were on scene until around 2:45 AM Sunday to get the fire under control.

High winds are said to be the leading cause of the fire.
