Lancaster man jailed, kids removed from home after deputies find guns, marijuana operation

A Lancaster County man has been jailed and two children placed in emergency protective custody after deputies found a loaded AR-15 rifle and a marijuana grow operation in a home he shared with the children's mother, according to the Lancaster County Sheriff's Office.
According to a press release:
Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance report at a home on West Ridge Road just west of Lincoln about 1:45 p.m. on Monday. The home is where the couple, a 28-year-old woman and a 23-year old man who have a 7-month-old daughter, live. The woman's 5-year-old son was also there.
Deputies found marijuana, a loaded AR-15, and five shotguns within easy reach of the kids.
After obtaining a search warrant, the deputies seized about 20 grams of marijuana and a grow set up. Both children were removed from the home and placed with relatives.
The man was jailed on suspicion of felony manufacturing of a controlled substance and cited on suspicion of child neglect and possessing drug paraphernalia.
The woman was cited on suspicion of misdemeanor child neglect.
