Investment firm recognized for sports equipment donation, to Beatrice Public Schools

BEATRICE - A local father-daughter investment company in Beatrice has been honored as the Beatrice Public Schools Business Friend of the Month, for a generous donation of sports equipment to the district.

Paul Garnett and Traci Garnett-Froscheiser recently donated $86,000 of sports equipment to District 15... enough to pack a semitrailer truck.

Superintendent Jason Alexander talked about some of the equipment that will be available to all the district school buildings.
"Volleyball standards and equipment, that quite honestly, is the type of equipment you see in high-profile college coliseums.....and not just one or two, but five sets of volleyball standards with referee stands and everything that's needed to outfit a gymnasium. That's very expensive equipment that comes with carts you push in and push out. This was not just a small donation to Beatrice Public Schools on their behalf....it was very substantial."

Garnett Investment Services has been a regular supporter of Beatrice Public Schools….and was the first company to financially commit to an upgraded digital scoreboard, media board and sound system for the O-Zone gym, at BHS. The company has also supported professional development programs and preschool activities.

The sporting equipment arrived by truck in early July, at Beatrice Public Schools.
