MURRAY, Neb. -- Heavy rains have shut down a major road in the southeast part of the state.
Highway 1, just east of Murray in Cass County, washed out overnight.
According to the state, the road suffered significant damage and contractors are already on site; the cost of repairs is just under $13 million.
Suggested detours are Highways 66 and 34.
