Gov. Ricketts hosting town halls opposing Biden’s 30×30 plan

LINCOLN, Neb. — Gov. Pete Ricketts is set to host a series of town halls across Nebraska this week.

The “Stop 30×30” talks are in response to an initiative by President Joe Biden to permanently protect 30 percent of the nation’s land and waters by 2030.

In a press release, the governor’s office says Ricketts and others will deliver remarks about the 30×30 plan and “how Nebraskans can push back Biden’s radical climate agenda.”

The first of the town halls is set for Thursday in Clay Center in the morning and Norfolk in the afternoon.

There will be additional meetings in Wahoo and Broken Bow on June 7th.
