BEATRICE – The City of Beatrice has announced the garbage hauling collection route schedule that will be used beginning April 5th.
The city-operated Midwest Area Refuse Solutions garbage collection service begins at 6:00 a.m. Monday – Friday.
Residential garbage customers and commercial customers with automated waste carts will be collected based on a schedule issued on the City of Beatrice website. The schedule includes….
Monday–Westside of 11th Street between the Big Blue River and South side of Ella Street. West side of Hwy 77 from Ella Street to Dorsey Street. The North side of Dorsey Street from 19th Street to SW 32nd Road including the Bear Creek area.
Tuesday–The East side of Hwy 77 to west side of 13th Street. The North side of Ella Street to South side of Dorsey Street.
Wednesday–Everything South and West of the Big Blue River, including West Beatrice, Belvedere, Country Club, Whispering Pines, South 40 Estates.
Thursday–The East side of 11th Street between the Big Blue River and the South side of Ella Street. The East side of 19th Street to City Limits.
Friday–The East side to 13th Street to west side of 19th Street, along with the North side of Ella Street to South side of Dorsey Street.
The Recycling Collection Schedule begins with collection starting at 6:00 a.m., Monday – Friday.
For those with a Beatrice address…the recycling collection is ….
Tuesday, South of High Street
Wednesday, High Street and North or High Street
Persons who do not have a Beatrice address should contact the MARS office to confirm their recycling collection day.
