Fight turned to shots fired; one victim non-life threatening injuries

OMAHA, Neb. -- Early Monday morning, officers responded to a shooting at 5121 N 49th Street, but they were not able to locate the victim when they arrived.

Police say that officers were then advised of a walk-in shooting victim, Jabari Brisco age 20, at an Omaha Hospital. 

Brisco said he was shot near 5121 N 49th Street. He was with a group of teenagers that began to fight, and at some point shots were fired. 

Brisco realized he had been shot, and he was taken to Immanuel Hospital by a private vehicle. His injuries were determined to be non-life threatening. 

This is an on-going investigation.
