Falls City woman found with AR-15 charged in federal indictment

FALLS CITY – A Falls City woman faces federal charges alleging possession of a rifle silencer that is not registered to her in the National Firearms Registration and Transfer Record.

A federal indictment against 37-year-old Tia Hall of Falls City was handed down July 22 alleging possession or receiving of the silencer July 8 and July 9 of 2020.

In a separate case, Hall is charged in Richardson County with assault on an officer on Feb. 7.

Court records say police responded to her Fulton Street residence on a domestic disturbance call and located an AR-15.

An arrest affidavit says police took Hall to the county jail for her personal safety after she made statements about not making it through the night. The affidavit says, while at the jail, she attempted to push by officers and kicked an officer.
