‘Extremely bloody’ domestic violence scene sends two to hospital, one to jail

LA VISTA, Neb. -- A man accused of leaving behind an "extremely bloody" scene is in jail today, accused of attempted murder, child abuse and more.

32-year-old Aaron Crawford was arrested by La Vista police accused of stabbing his girlfriend in the neck, and then himself 20 times.

According to police, officers took the man into custody after firing pepper-balls at him.

Two boys, one 9 and the other 16, were in the apartment at the time and helped get the woman out.

She is in critical but stable condition. The man is in stable condition and under a mental health hold.
