NORFOLK --A special exhibit is touring the U.S., will be in Norfolk through Thursday morning, wrapping up at 10:00 a.m.
The Shroud of Turin is a famous artifact believed to have been Jesus's burial cloth. This week, an exhibit with replicas of it, and informative panels, made its way to St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Colleen Burgett said as she's learning more about it, she has become fascinated.
"It's one of the most studied artifacts in history," she said.
An expert presented on the shroud on Sunday. The tour will next go to Omaha and Columbus.
It is hosted in part by Spirit Catholic Radio in collaboration with the Turin Shroud Center of Colorado.
