Entrepreneurial video series continues with highlight on Sidney business

SIDNEY, NE — A video series highlighting western Nebraska businesses is focusing on Sidney this week.

The four-part series titled Entrepreneurial Journey released an episode on Sidney-based Nexgen Outfitters Tuesday. The episodes were created by the Nebraska Business Development Center to encourage people to get into the entrepreneurship field after the sale of Cabela’s to Bass Pro.

Other businesses previously in the spotlight are Flyover Brewing in Scottsbluff, Double Dips Ice Creamery in North Platte and the Noyes family in Grant that owns multiple businesses.

When announcing the series, Nebraska Small Business Development Center director Sara Bennett said the videos were made because the best people to learn about owning a business in western Nebraska from are people who do just that.

“Deciding to take the leap to start a business brings about numerous questions,” Bennett said. “The stories shared in the Entrepreneurial Journey video series are intended to help prospective Sidney business owners gain a greater understanding of what small business ownership is from peers who are already owners.”
