FALLS CITY – The Falls City Green Team is organizing an Earth Day celebration at Stanton Lake on Sunday, April 18, from 1 to 3 p.m.
Jumping Kate provides live music and Arc Wild will have live animal demonstrations. Southeast Nebraska Communications is serving ice cream.
Pet rocks, peanut butter bird feeders, egg carton scavenger hunt and a walk around the lake and arboretum are also planned.
A 1 mile or 5K run starts at noon.
Proceeds benefit a walking path around the Community Medical Center campus.
